Welcome to the website of St Peter's Church which meets in Newlands Avenue, Didcot.

A warm welcome is always on offer at St Peter's. You won't feel swamped by people trying to be too helpful – they respect the space we all need as well. The building is warm and welcoming too, and although it was only built in 1976 it is unmistakably a sacred place, touched by God.

At St Peter's we try to be at ease with God, with one another, and with ourselves. Although sometimes things can seem busy – we have lots of fantastic social events as well as our services – it's a golden rule that nobody should be asked to do things that aren't part of their calling from God. So we encourage people to be prayerful first of all, and then to respond to God's call, whatever that might be.

To find out more about what we do, click on the Information link on the left, download our Parish Profile, or read our last (2014/2015) Annual Review of life at St Peter's.

You are always welcome to telephone our Priest, the Revd Hannah Reynolds, on 01235 812114 or email the priest-in-charge@stpeters-didcot.org.uk (but please respect her day off which is Friday).

This website has been designed to give an overview of our life as a church. We have services and other activities for people of all ages, and the other pages give plenty of details. But the best way to experience St Peter's is to pay a visit, maybe to our 10.00am Sunday morning service when most of us gather to worship God. We look forward to welcoming you.
